classic :fear and loathing in las vegas review

what can i possibly say about this movie.hmmmm......maybe i should say that you must be really really high to understand it. it is wacky, it is nutty, it is off the wall insane in its bleak yet bright visuals in a drug induced mind. This film in its self makes it seem like a classic just on how old this film looks. it was made in 1998 but feels like its a classic from the early 70's.

i would like to tell you what this tale is about but...... hell I'm not even sure what its all about. what i can say is that this is johnny depp at his best. His character is a drug addict journalist that is so twisted in his own head.through the film the character gives his first person narration ,even when it randomly becomes dialogue instead of the narration..

another actor that does extremely well in this flick as johnny depps partner ,benicio del toro. Del toro plays this suicidal,homicidal, drug loving ,almost child molesting attorney, that advises johnny depps character on to doing any drug possible.

as weird and as wacky as I'm putting this movie in a small box, this is a box worth opening.
This film is a great piece of visual photography that i have ever seen in a drug comedy/drama.
with most of the angles filmed at a slant, it just makes each and every frame just that more interesting. i suggest checking this film out if your a fan of johnny depp,drug movies, movies with undertones about the Vietnam war,lizards,crazy visuals,and to kill time.
