thunder beats batman for the week end!! but beats clone wars and a new hope

today is a very sad day for me and yet a very great day.the bad news....the dark knight is not the top grossing film of the week and didnt win the box office again liked i hoped :(.this week instead tropic thunder beats the dark knight, taking in 37 million over the five -day run. BUT! the dark knight did do something great this weekend. according to slashfilm.com, not only did it beat the new clone wars movie(which ranked number three this weekend) but the dark knight has brought down Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, and now is the 2nd highest most grossing film of all time with a total of 471.5 million.(titanic is still number one of all time highest grossing film with about over 600 million) thats right ...... our dark knight has brought down star wars....que the violins.....
